Coco Gauff's Mother's Reaction To Her Victory Has Got The 15 Year Old Laughing

Coco Gauff delivered a hilarious reaction on Friday when confronted with the prospect that her mum was about to share in her new found stardom.

The 15-year-old sensations has been the undoubted star of the tournament at Wimbledon and served up another memorable victory on her Centre Court debut, coming from behind to beat Polona Hercog.

The comeback, which saw Gauff break serve at 5-2 and a set down to spark an incredible turnaround, produced wild celebrations in her player's box, with mum Candi catching the eye with some particularly enthusiastic moves.

And when told of the scenes in her press conference following victory, Gauff was thrilled to learn of her mum's new-found social media fame.

'Oh, no!' she exclaimed when it was first pointed out to her. 'Please tell me she's a meme. I'm so excited to go on Instagram!'

Asked if she had ever seen her mum that excited, she replied, 'No!

'I look at my dad mostly. But actually right after the match, I went on Instagram, I saw her going something like this after.

'I was like... I didn't tell her, but she's going to go viral, I know. She's going to be a meme. I'm going to retweet it and everything. So I'm excited.'

Gauff's Wimbledon fairytale continues next week, when she faces No 1 seed Simona Halep in the last 16.
